My Lyfestyle Through Lyrics
The art of war isn’t to be played by the faintest of heart.
It’s more so important in how one finishes than how one starts.
Carefully positioning each piece so as to protect the possession that I consider most prized.
My opening move determines how my opponent must strategize.
Just as in the game of life, only the strong survive.
Using moves like the pin and the skewer to conquer after the divide.
Yet, with every move, I, the Queen stays ready and near.
Protecting Him from all angles, away from harm I steer Him clear.
The first to be sacrificed. The first to be gone.
Yet still important if they reach the enemies lines by pushing pawns.
My defense lyes in an opponent’s first move as well as plan of attack.
Several steps ahead of the other; know your strategies otherwise, under pressure one will crack.
Diagonal with the Bishop, horizontal and vertical with the Rook.
Beware of the moves you make. Taking pieces is my specialty; like a crook.
By any means necessary I protect what is mine.
The best move used is a fork in the road with a Knight.
Avoiding the checkmate, I’ll always be the last one standing, fighting because I am His Queen.
In the game of chess and even in love and in life, these things I do when protecting my King.
