My Lyfestyle Through Lyrics
[#ipodonrepeat Crazy Love – Brian McKnight]
People will do crazy things for love, or at least what they think is love. I’m not going to lie, I have myself. That’s the one thing about me that I kind of hate: when I love, I love hard! I dive in without any regrets. It’s only afterwards when I get hurt or am disappointed that the regret creeps into my head. Months and even years down the road is when I realize the life lesson in it all. Doesn’t it always happen like that?
I’ve been listening to Brian McKnight’s song Crazy Love for the past few days. A friend even sang a snippet of it for me. It cheered me up! This song is completely who I am, who I strive to be for the man who has my heart. As much as I love this song, it pains me to continue listening to it because it makes me miss my boo that much more. It makes me fiend for him. I’m beginning to hate the song now. Ok… so I’m being a drama queen, so sue me!
So here I am blogging, once again, about him. I had to take a few days break from blogging because life’s been more busy as the holidays near. I thought that taking a break from blogging would help, but boy was I sorely wrong.
My first blog back was a music review, but here I am immediately thereafter writing about my boo. I swear my readers and twitter followers are sick of reading about him (lol). It’s moments like these that make me realize how much I need another hobby other than writing. I need a hobby that’ll take my mind off of him and the other things going on in my life.
I’ve moved away from my two-a-day workouts to just one day workouts, because I’ve lost enough weight and I’m not trying to lose my boobs and butt as I try to tone and lengthen things in this last stretch to my goal weight. I think my boo would prefer that I leave something for him to hold onto. Yes?
I digress. I’m missing him dearly and blogging about him doesn’t help. I’m going to go find a new hobby! Any suggestions?
What are the craziest things you’ve done for love? Was it worth it? Is it or was it reciprocated?
Crazy Love as performed by Brian McKnight
I can hear her heart beat for a thousand miles
And the heavens open up every time she smiles
And when I come home to her that’s where I belong
Yet I’m running to her like a river’s song
she gives me love love love love crazy love
she gives me love love love love crazy love…
She’s got a fine sense of humor when I’m feeling low down
And when I come home to her when the sun goes down
She takes away my troubles, takes away my grief
Takes away my heartache in the night like a thief.
She’s got love love love love crazy love
Yes I need her in the daytime
Yes I need her in the night
I want to throw my arms around her
To kiss her, hug her, kiss her, hug her tight
And when I’m returning from so far away
She gives me such sweet lovin’ brightens up my day
And makes me righteuos and makes me whole
And it makes me mellow down to my soul
